Last Call
One week until my book comes out!
We’re exactly ONE WEEK away from the official release of Now She’s Dead, my debut novel. This means you’ve only got a few days left to preorder (if you want a signed copy from one of the indie bookstores below, be sure to preorder asap)! 😱 😱 😱
If you preordered from Barnes & Noble, you may actually already have your copy!! (Even though B&N has it listed as available, you should still be able to use the preorder discount code to get 25% off until 6/3, as long as you’re logged into your [free] B&N account. Code: MIDNIGHT25)
A Major Thank You
As I get ready to celebrate my first book’s “birthday,” I want to say thank you for your support along the way! Word of mouth and early interest (including all your preorders! Oh my gosh! Y’all have seriously surprised me in the best way!) makes such a huge difference for authors, especially debut authors.
Because of your support (and the amazing work of my publisher, Sourcebooks Fire), people can find Now She’s Dead on shelves in Barnes & Noble, Target (which seems to be having a 20% off sale today on NSD), Books-A-Million, local indie bookstores, and more across the country. Getting to see my book on shelves in stores is a dream that for most of my life I couldn’t imagine would ever be reality, and yet, here we are! People are already posting pictures on social media of my book and I do a little happy dance every time.
If you spot Now She’s Dead in the wild (or have already gotten your copy) definitely tag me in your posts! I’d love to see them!

About the Book
📚 NOW SHE’S DEAD is a dual-timeline YA thriller with an anxiety-ridden unreliable narrator that Kirkus Reviews called “a dark and engrossing debut that will keep readers guessing.” 🌲🌊
Last summer, Sara Ellis was found dead by the lake, and only Mandy knows what really happened.
This summer, she's desperate to keep it a secret.
For a few weeks every summer, Sara was Mandy's best friend. At Highmark, the lake resort where their families vacationed, the two were in a world of their own. Or at least Mandy got to be part of Sara's world.
But now Sara’s dead. The police ruled her death an accident; a tragic mistake after a night of impaired judgment. For the past year, Mandy's coped by escaping: leaving home and barely keeping it together at school. The last thing she wants to do is return to Highmark this summer—even if she does need "closure." As soon as she's back, though, she hears the whispers: someone killed Sara Ellis.
And if she’s not careful, they'll figure out it's all her fault.
As evidence resurfaces and anonymous accusations are scrawled in angry red spray paint, Mandy must confront the truths she's been avoiding about last summer. Because someone wants to make her pay for what happened to Sara that night.

Stay magical, friends!
